No, she didn't. She left right after she slept with Forrest, then the next scene with her in it was her leaving some guy she was shooting up drugs with (he was passed out with the needle still in his arm). Logic would suggest she got HIV from this guy, after she slept with Forrest. |

Forrest was the last know person she slept with and I think that the movie implied that she died of an STD. If so, then she must have given it to him when she slept with him and became pregnant with Forrest JR. so in reality yes she did. |
