Yes it is possible but less likely than white people. Lice do not like the oily hair. I have actually heard a prevention technique that uses this fact, which suggests rubbing baby oil around your hairline.
So on another note....Although people think that lice only happens to dirty people who don't wash their hair, it is actually more likly to happen to people who have clean hair!
