If the dress code requires you to wear a skirt, then there needs to be a bona fide occupational job qualification that requires your wearing a skirt to be effective in your job. If there is not one, then your employer is breaking the law by requiring you to wear a skirt.
PS. Clothes you wear to work are not a tax deduction. Check with your tax consultant. |

That depends on if it was a part of a dress code that you agreed to when accepting the job. |

Check the company's policy for dress code, if it is not stated, then you don't have to. |

If it's the dress code, yes. Keep your reciept and you can write it off as a tax offset under work expenses at the end of the financial year. Maybe speak to your head office and ask them if they have a company logo that you can have embroidered onto it, then you should be able to claim it.( check with the tax office first though) ( in response to the message you sent me:)) |

Only if it's specified in the dress code, otherwise you don't, but you still have to wear appropriate slacks or pants in the dress code colours. |

If the company that you work for has a required dress code, then you must follow it, no matter what the expense to you, so long as it is company wide, and clearly stated in their policy. |

Companies have dress codes, but that doesn't mean they have to provide you with the clothes for it. If you work somewhere where there is a uniform, then the company will provide, otherwise if it simply insists on women wearing skirts to work, you have to buy the skirts. |
