sure. you could make like, $20 over the course of like, a year.
they take up a ridiculous (i mean, ridiculous, like, hours a day) amount of time. most sites only pay you a few cents per survey. you really have to qualify for the higher paying surveys, and you have to be on top of your email to get into those before they have enough people already.
trust me, i've tried it, for a few months, from surveys, i made $2 that I could actually receive through paypal. most sites you have to make at least $20 to be able to withdraw money.
mystery shopping, however, was fun, and i made several hundred dollars in 2 months. NEVER pay for anyone to tell you where to shop though.
i used shopnchek.com and they paid great and had lots of jobs. |

There are many good online paid survey sites which conduct market research surveys. Many of them give handsome rewards for your participation in online surveys. You have to join each of them individually and you get survey invitations by email. Rewards for surveys vary from $1 to $20 or more. Many pay for each survey you take or give you points which you can redeem for cash at a particular level. Some of them enter you into sweepstakes.
All are free to join. The so called paid surveys which charge money like $35 for you to join are only databases of such free to join companies, which you have to join individually. But only 30 to 40 out of those 500 or so survey sites are really worth joining.

I would not trust them, you almost always have to provide your personal information which jsut opens up the doors to hackers and identity theft. NOT WORTH IT! |

Depends on the survey company. If you manage to get invited to Pinecone Research (afaik, you have to find one of their banner ads now), you'll get fairly frequent requests for surveys for small cash amounts.

I would spend hours doing them and not really get anything from them. Some you would accumalate points and redeem them for cash, but that would take forever. Others would hold a lottery of sorts and only about 5 people would make anything.
I have switched to a better source of income that is FREE to join with step by step setup.

this is one of the really good sites, I used to be enrolled with a company that would send product samples for me to test too but I am not sure if they went out of business or what because I no longer receive anything from them, but try this one it is pretty good. |

Yes, but there is a big catch. You can only take surveys that you meet the target criteria for. Which means that out of a hundred surveys you may only be allowed to take five to ten a day. Not only is that low, but the going rate for the surveys is even lower. The most I ever made off of one survey was twenty cents! And this was from a company saying that I would make up to twenty dollars a survey! So to sum it up, they will pay you, but your only going to make about a dollar per day taking a half dozen thirty minute surveys. |

Hey Frank. I've done them for some time now and created a site that has everything I know about free online surveys. It has tutorial videos, legit survey sites that have paid me along with proof of payment, and contact info if you want more guidance or have questions.

ive recently signed up for a few, and they all said they pay at least $10 for each survey, and none of them have yet 2 pay. when i finish them, they say they enter me in some type drawing to win money. so ive lost my faith in these things. |

Yes... many do pay you or give you freebies... but watch out... many ask you to fill out promotions/coupons/offers... which you have to pay for... it kinda sucks |
