I've seen some questions on here that couldn't be answered by a simple Internet search, such as asking someone's opinion on the best B2B channel marketing opportunities for XYZ City; something that's more of an opinion than a fact. Sometimes 'trusted experts' aren't readily on hand. |

I think that people go here for answers, fun, and to see what other people think. I go to the search engines too but I love knowing how the rest of the world thinks. Rather entertaining. |

sometimes asking a trusted expert just isn't enough you want answere from real people. This way gives you many different looks at it. how ever I know how to search for my answeres...I can't stand it when someone post a sight and thats it...I want your thoughts about my questions |

Yes, and for those people who aren't asking real questions or are just messing around you can click on the " report abuse" link to report them. It appears that Yahoo! is trying to have better control over this than their message board. They are trying to keep this place professional for people like us with real questions. |

Depends on the question.
I post questions on here just to see how people react to them, typically. Only a handful are genuine questions, if that many.
I also tend not to answer seriously unless I really have something to say.
This is an amusement, but I suppose some see it as a place to get advice or whatnot. Silly gits. |

I personally think that people use google a lot more then yahoo anxswers because google seachs the whole like web. Yahoo answers only lets yahoo users answer the questions. And people are kind of lazy to ask a trusted expert. |
