I don't think so, it's like getting a hair cut, it doesn't hurt because hair is just protein, it doesn't have any nerve endings. Now if you clip the sheep with your shears instead of just the wool, that will hurt just like if you you got clipped with the barber's scissors. |

No, it actually feels good because you normally shear it in the summer. So the sheep doesn't feel hot and sweaty under its thick layer of wool. |
