Do the banks always win?
With so many people through no fault of their own losing their jobs, they are going to miss one or two payments while their funds get sorted, this in turn will get them blacklisted on credit searches for when times turn good. So in the future not only will the banks have been helped by them, they will repay them with higher percentage rates to pay. So the banks always seem to win.

Very well said. I never thought of it that way. You are certainly correct.

no. the game is rigged, everyone loses when they borrow money.
save up, hold back purchasing minor things, and don't play.

Banks always win because they set the rules.

It is always the borrowers fault for borrowing more than he can afford and not having a buffer.

Maybe that person does not deserve any loans anymore... the banks are in BUSINESS and not a charity. Imagine if you lent me money and then stopped paying 'cos you lost a job. You need my payments to make your payments... now I don't pay for a few months for whatever I consider a 'valid' reason. Next time I need money, will you readily lend me the money???

This is not a communist nation where you have to borrow money by law... buy less or don't buy if you cannot afford it!

Banks always win, just like crooks always win... Its tragic, yet we are all vulnerable to it, and there is no law to protect us. Its like... the big guys, and us the normal people - obviously they will all help themselves. We need a revolution - all over, get rid of them, and live a better and healthier life.

In the first place banks lend their money to you or companies to either buy houses or capital for companies to do business and make profit. Then onward whatever happens you or companies must pay back the money plus interest to them for the money banks had lent out to you. This the normal course of banking business and your obligations as borrowers.

well it depends on the bank some are doing better than others , some banks in the usa went deep into the red and needed to be bailed out well banks in other countries like canada are doing well . so it can vary greatly .

Always is a long time for that kind of projection. Especially considering the looming threat to our biosphere :D

Grab some popcorn if you really want to understand. Then you can make your own projection.
