Here's a fun experiment, get someone who actually believes in this stuff to stop reading their own horoscope. Instead, read them the horoscope for some other sign. You will be surprised how much of it 'matches' them. |

I personally do not believe in zodiac signs to foretell the future.Just like all fortune telling gimmicks, if they really work, people like fortune tellers wouldn't be wasting time trying to bilk people out of a few dollars by telling them about the windfall coming their way, or about a new love coming into their life, etc. They could predict the multimillion dollar lottery numbers time and time again,and be rich without expending hardly energy at all. |

No, I don't because the Zodiac signs are arbitrary configurations that people have seen in the nightly sky. The stars that form a constellation have not got anything to do with each other, some of them are thousand of light years away from each other. It's only for the observer that they seem to be on the same plain. Moreover, during the millenia, their positions have changed so that what is e.g. Leo now, is quite different from what it used to be when they named the constellations.
As to character and signs of the Zodiac - you can try it out on somebody, a believer in them. Make up your sign, and you will see that they will attribute to you characteristic features that belong to e.g. Virgo or whatever you have chosen to pretend to be. I wish I could see their faces when you tell them that you aren't Virgo but Geminini. |
