Do you agree with kids wearing uniforms in school?

Yes, students these days are all about looking like porn stars, and having their pants below their knees. The skirts they wear are too short, the pants too baggy, the shirts to tight, and altogether clothes too horrid. |

If you want to make your child a nice little robot make her wear uniforms...if you want to make her into a superfluous blond concerned only with appearances then buy her her ouwn clothes. |

Yes I do. From a person who wore uniforms all their life until college, I will say, that it was a lot easier than having to worry about what to wear to school every day. Also, everyone looked the same, so you didn't have to worry about who looked cool and who didn't. But the down side to them are--you loose a lot of individuality. |

In order to stay competetive with the rest of the world intellectually, it's not a a bad idea. |

yes, because i see so many school girls that dress like porn stars with skirts way above their knees and their shirts that shows thier tummy , it kind of reminds me of hollywood hookers back in the eighties,( thats the way they used to dress) so if kids are going to dress like that its better they dont do it at school because it attracts more attention because after all each and evryone of us is an individual and we want to stand out make an impression be cute be hott be adored but school is for learning and they way they dress they are going so fast. and its better to try and slow them down ... anyway school girl outfits wera skirts too, just not as high. |

Yes. I'm tired of seeing gangbangers in school. Some kids can't even keep their pants on their hips. What a joke. Make them all look the same and shave their heads too. Ryno - U.S. Marine Corp |

Yes, it get's issues out of the way like girls or boys dressing inappropriate, the cool kids teasing the less fortunate, or less cool kids for their "ugle clothes", and so that their minds are more focused on school work and not what new JLo Jeans just came out. Besides, it saves laundry time. |

I don't really know: YES-because like that they can look like students and no body is doind to feel left out because the students with not so rich people are going to be left out because other students wear better clothes that they do and i saw those girs dresing like ... and this is school. NO-because i'm a student and my uniform is navy blue and white.every single day i need to wear those colors and i don't really like neavy blue i want to wear my other clothes and i want to wear other colors too.Everyone look the same girls and boys. |

Yes I believe it would take less pressure off the kids. They wouldn't have to worry about what to wear, and the kids whose parents can't afford top of the line clothes wouldn't feel insecure about that. |

Yes, because their right of freedom to dress how they wish is getting insanely out of hand. |

Yes, it makes things easier on the students and teachers alike. If you've seen kids who wear their pants so loose they fall to their knees and kids who hide stuff in their clothes, and if you've seen kids who wear gang-related stuff to school, you'd agree that uniforms are a good idea. The students may not like it, but tough toe nails. |

No way!!! Children need to express themselves some way and clothing is a good way!! Yeah uniforms help with the teasing about not brand name clothes, but maybe it is easier for children to wear regular clothes!! I don't know what the experts say but I do know that children would feel more comfortable in their own skin!!! |
