Do you feel Walmart sells good products for a good price?

i am a real comparison shopper- i read labels and compare ingredients carefully- i pay attention to detail- probably because i am a CPA- the equate drug products sold at walmart are identical to their name brand counterparts-at half the price- generally their products are good quality- the only gripe i have is their meat products could have 8 to 10 % added liquid injected into them--steaks, roasts- that is filler and not wonderfull- their cranberry juice cocktail has 30% cranberry juice-while ocean-spray has 25%-so their private label here is better than the national brand-lots of their clothes are made in under-developed countries- so the quality may not be the best-yet it is reasonably good--all in all- i like shopping there especially for food, canned goods, crackers, most national brands are about as good a price as you can get anywhere--oh, the best part is this- if another food store or even target is running a loss leader item- you just bring that advertisement with you and walmart will match the price from the other store with no limit on the number of sales priced items you can buy-they match low prices on milk and produce from other stores without having to go to their competitors on sale prices that are impossible to beat-saves on not having to run around especially with gas prices today- oh-also- if they ring an item up with the wrong price- you go to the service desk-show the item is higher than the shelf price and you get the item free of charge-limit one item of one product free if you bought several-the store i frequent often has produce on sale yet the computer charges a higher price- i no longer correct the checker- i go to the service desk after checking out-i once got bags of apples, tomatoes & pears free, because the prices were wrong- saved over $9 almost $10 saved right there--wow-who else does that-albertsons does i think-yet not gracefully--I LOVE WALMART- I CAN BUY STUFF THERE AND KNOW I AM PROBABLY GETTING THE BEST PRICE ON MOST PURCHASES I PURCHASE ESPESCIALLY NATIONAL BRANDS & THEY DONT HAVE TO BE ON SALE--I DONT KNOW WHERE ELSE YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH THAT IN ONE PLACE--FOOD, DRUGS, SOAPS, CANDY,PRODUCE -- I AM A SATISFIED CUSTOMER--i recently told the store mgr. about a diet peach tea they had but seemed short of supply often- he ordered ten cases -40 items- i told him i would buy 15 or 20- he said -no problem i will order 10 cases every few days,so it will be there for you !! that was darn accomodating & decent of him-very pleasant fellow-pretty rare these days, from any retailer !!! WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR ???!!!

No. Walmart is for idiots. It is far too cheap to use.

I suggest Target - good staff, expensive stuff, but its stuff that don't disintegrate in a day.

Yes I do. There are certain things that Walmart sells cheaper than anyone else.

And don't tell me they are bad for neighborhoods and they treat their employees like crap because they hire part-time and they won't allow unions and they have no benefits - NO ONE IS FORCING ANYONE TO WORK THERE! Plus they hire a lot of people others do not - especially the handicapped and emotionally challenged.

some products yes, many no. I guess if you can pay people $5 per month, you can make a lot of stuff cheap.

i dont know about quality, i have had stuff last for years from them and other stuff only last a few weeks, but if walmart and target had a street fight behind the bicycle sheds, walmart would win...
they fight dirty and get us the cheap prices we want, so dont gripe about it!

Yes ... my son did an economics report and found that Wal-mart is, indeed, the cheapest. K-Mart is cheap, but does not have the selection. target is a more upscale "bargain" store.

Yes, I buy all my neckties, socks, underwear, office supplies, greeting cards there. Also, prices on toiletries are lower, along with aspirin and cold medications. OF course, one Can find low-quality items there - buyer beware.

No. Walmart sells pieces of junk for a good price. If it's not a good name brand, don't buy it there.

Not just a good price and variety, but even one of the largest business across the planet.
Owned by the Walton Family, 2 of the family member are located over Bill Gates in the fortune list...

wal mart sells every thing xept laser pointers ive tried at least 5 different walmarts and couldn't find one other wise yea it does

they should , after beating down their suppliers as they do.
the make their vendor wait for 60-90 days foe payment, while ordering more and more. they hope to break the vendor
and end up receiving their product for free.
then it starts all over again. nice way to do business don't ya think for a multi- billion dollar corporation?

Walmart sell stuff for good price of course... But about the products, I don't think it's Wal-mart's responsible since most of it product was manufacture by other brand and company... Let's say pantene, it's only 5.76 at wal-mart but 7.99 at CVS... so?... it's juts the same stuff.. I don't know y some IDIOT would say walmart is idiot and would pay more for the same quality stuff yet think that they r smart... LOL... So IDIOT... ya, they r way too smart.
