I think we grow and learn more through failure than through success. Most of us, me included, are much more willing to take credit for successes that we may not have had much to do with than we are to accept responsibility for screwing up. When you screw up you have to learn something about character to try again, to make it right, to keep from getting paralyzed by the fear of failing again. We learn a bunch through our failures IF we don't give up. |

Yes but I'd rather not. |

if you never fail you will never learn. |

In my personal life that seems to be the case but I'm inclined to think that it's not that way for everyone. Some people fail and never learn and keep repeating the same mistakes. So I think it's possible to grow from a bad experience but not everyone takes it to that place. |

ofcourse you must fail to succed...how to you think all the major invetions were created, by trial and failure |

Sure.
Vince Lombardi said, "It's not how many times you get knocked down, it's how many times you get back up again!"
I say, "Live and learn!"
Suffering and failure, if taken with the right attitude, produce wisdom, growth, and strength.
Think about it as exercise. People who get a lot of exercise have much stronger muscles than those who just take it easy. |

Better to learn by the failures of others than your own |
|

Uh Yeah!

It's how you learn.
If you don't you're always doomed to fail. |

yes, in some cases failure forces us to look at ourselves from within and make new choices. there are times that we do need the help to turn that which was a failure to an opportunity from growth. failure in a job can teach you this may not be the proper road for you; failure in relationships is more complicated because there is the other person - but you can learn; you can fail at friendships - we can meet people we click with but if they may just be a fase. good luck. |

Few people learn any other way. You learn what works and what doesn't. Pain is very instructional, for example. And many of mother nature's lessons are good only in the next life, if you can somehow remember what got you killed. Smarter people pay attention to what gets OTHER PEOPLE killed, or hurt, or heartbroken, and try to do it differently. At the extreme, some say hell is God's last shot at trying to get your attention. |

absolutely! The failure will make you think twice for doing another thing. Besides, you get more information about it, so theat another people can learn from you too. |
