Not where I am now, but I grew up in Florida, surrounded by beautiful beaches. My favorite was a place called Coquino Beach (pronounced CO KEE NO). Coquinos are tiny shellfish, like really small clams, and the entire beach is made up of nothing but Coquino shells...no sand at all! It sounds like it would be rough/sharp to walk on, but the shells are so small and polished so smooth, that it's like walking on glass beads! Truly amazing! |

yep,Cresent beach in florida on the atlantic side is clostest to us 40 mi.,also have a private beach on our beautiful natural clear sand bottom lake,most people love it here! |

marsden bay in the north east of england. the north sea is very cold though so unless your very brave or really enjoy freezing it's best not to go in the water. |

I love the beaches of the Florida panhandle, like Ft Walton Beach. I also love Cocoa Beach.
Forget Daytona, it's become a street, not a beach. |
