yep.. especially since I have worked 3rd shift ... it blocks out all of the outside noise by making it's humm.

Well, it gets too cold here in the winter, but I sure have a hard time getting used to not having it the first week or so after we put it away. |

I need airconditioning to fall asleep. Warm air makes me sick... dunno why. Oh yeah, btw, i live in a tropical country. Maybe I should move because we have warm air all year round. |

I don't need the fan because of the constant sound. I need it because I get so damn hot at night. My family keeps the heat up like it's the ice age or something. |

Not me I would freeze in the winter.But my brother he has to have a fan my Mom does to she's the one that got him doing this for as long as I can remember.Just take a fan if they don't have one where your sleeping over.He never get's sick from doing this so I guess it's ok. |

Me too! I hate sleeping in hotels for that very reason. I can't sleep w/out the fan running in the background. |

u are not the only one, i slept over a friends house many years ago and he had to have it blasting at high speed 1 feet away from his head all night. i freaking woke up 5 or more times to turn it down but he turned it up again. i dont know if that is healthy but if u are not getting colds then i guess it is ok |

well it depends on the time of year. in summer you most probably would , but in winter i wouldn't reccomend it. and on the weather hot yes. cold no. the sound of the fan could sct 'lullabuy' |
