Stinky LOL!
Yes, only teeny tiny ones. The big mother lays the little teeny tiny eggs right over your bed. Then they hatch and all of the teeny tiny spiders land in your mouth, the timing is difficult and critical, if they miss the inhale then they scatter to the winds! So, the lucky ones manage to land in your mouth on the inhale and are sucked into your lungs where they incubate and come out later in the day when you cough. Every time you cough you're planting teeny tiny spiders all over the place! Ack! |

No. In a 1993 PC Professional article, columnist Lisa Holst wrote about the ubiquitous lists of "facts" that were circulating via e-mail and how readily they were accepted as truthful by gullible recipients. To demonstrate her point, Holst offered her own made-up list of equally ridiculous "facts," among which was the statistic cited above about the average person's swallowing eight spiders per year, which she took from a collection of common misbeliefs printed in a 1954 book on insect folklore. In a delicious irony, Holst's propagation of this false "fact" has spurred it into becoming one of the most widely-circulated bits of misinformation to be found on the Internet. |

YES, we all eat spiders when we sleep, they are so small you can't even see them crawl in your mouth and have a party! |

YES! THEIR TEXTURE IS SO DELICIOUS! So crunchy, slimey, and messy! If you bite into one, you want to bite into another and another and another and so on!

Oh PLEEEASE!
Whoever told you that you eat spiders when you sleep is putting one over on you. How many spiders do you see in your house right now? 0. Why? They are there, they are eating bugs for you, but why?
Because they are scared to death of you.
Spiders know exactly where you are. They feel the walls and the floors shaking and scramble to hide from you.
When you're asleep, they know you're there. They can see in the dark better than you, and they can feel the heat coming from you, and trust me they want to stay far away from you.
Have you ever tried to catch a spider to help it out of your house? How easy is it? They don't want to be near us.
You don't eat spiders in your sleep. Trust me. |
