Yes, it's pretty safe.

I had a problem once about 8 years ago. The credit card company were right on it straight away.

MGN2006
Yes. I have my groceries delivered weekly from www.Tesco.com and lots of other items all the time from a variety of different stores

oliver f
Yes I do, especially at christmas, as it is so much easier to buy loads of presents at once, and you don't have to worry about going shopping for hours on end.

Jack
I do it all the time.....haven't had a problem yet.
Everything from Travel, clothing, car parts, computer parts etc.
Just make sure you know the vendors you're using. If they're well known companies, you're safe.

analyst
Yes. Its very safe especially if you pay using Paypal

White T

Ive never had a problem so far and use it quite often.

Yes, I do a lot of shopping on the internet. If you plan on it it may also be worth registering for a "Pay to Buy" site such as pigsback.com as they give you points for every pound that you spend through the site and these can be claimed back as extra vouchers for sites such as amazon and cd-wow!

Still find problems with security.

No, because when I shop for something I want it NOW, not in 2 - 4 weeks time or never.

womam12
yes as it is much cheaper especially if you use ebay, but loads of other sites are safe, use paypal and you will be ok!

jacqueline e
Yes, i order my groceries, much better than queueing at the checkout, and never had any problems

I never have but I would like to. I am just worried about any problems that might occur like identity theft and things like that.

shopping on the internet can be cheaper and quicker as long you choose a secure site - play.com is always worth a look as it is in jersey meaning no vat or postage - can work out cheaper than amazon

Mickeymouse20
All of the time.

I do a lot of shopping on the internet, from toys, holidays and books to cd's and dvd's. As long as you use a reliable site it saves you a lot of money and quite often if you spend over a certain amount the postage is free. I am a constant user of amazon, toys r us and various electrical retailers such as currys/comet. I recommend you use paypal or a credit card as c/cards are insured (I wouldn't trust using a debit card on the net). A really good site is pricerunner.com who compare prices over loads of different sites and helped me save over £100 on my digital camera!!!

Yes, but always use secure sites (look for https). Also, usually much cheaper compared to shops
