I actually only sleep on the left when I have the bed all to myself. But I usually spread over during the night. When I'm with my boyfriend, I always sleep to the right. The left is closer to the door. He claims that he's protecting me in case we get robbed or brutally murdered during the night. |

I liked your theory and it does seem to fit into my life since I sleep on the left every night even when my boyfriend isn't over.
It's probably a good idea to rotate your mattress every 6 months if you only sleep on one side so it gets even wear on it. |

I would love it if I slept on one side and stayed there. The hot flashes come at my age and I flip flop left to right and on my back. The covers come off the covers go on. When I wake up in the morning it looks like I had a wrestling match. |

I guess maybe that's why I always sleep on the right side, with one leg wrapped around the sheets thus on top of them. (Now that I think of it, what is the one arm or leg not covered, about anyway ? lol )
