Absolutely NOT! The more that is discovered about how the mind works, the more is understood about why such things as ghosts, ufo's etc. seem to be real. But in the end, it's all in our head and our interpretation of our perceptions.
Some people make a lot of money playing on these faulty interpretations though! |

yes, not so much as energy or even as those spooky things trying to mess with you, but simply as energy between people. For a really long time a friend of mine would start to think about death and how when he dies he won't exist... how the universe is an impossible thing b/c we've proven spontaneous generation to be just a pile of crap, so where did it all come from?... but at any rate, to soothe his fear as well as to make some sense of it all, it dawned on me that even when you die you still exist. That whole quantum theory thing about how things only exist when they are witnessed or thought about... etc etc etc, that statement could prove that despite your death you still exist. Even when you're six feet under, people still think about you. You're still known. the energy you once had when you were alive is still there, just dropping by 90 percent every time that it passes through something, as standard biology states, so that it gets so small that maybe it's impossible to tell. A ghost isn't just some white creature sitting in the corner and whispering scary things at you. It's also the thought of a loved one, or a hated one, as long as you remember them, that's their energy passing through and proof not so much that they're still alive (although they are in a way) but that their energy is still being used and that, in some deranged fashion, that's a ghost. Paintings, stories, pyramids, graffitti, if someone leaves their mark and people know about it, that's their energy and their life carrying through even after their conventional death. Even when you're dead, you aren't really gone until you're completely forgotten. and physically, you're never gone. matter does not deplete itself. ever. |

Yes, we have one where I work that's always hanging out back in the corner of the call center where I sit. Papersrustling with no breeze or no one touching them. People hear their names being called when no one is talking. Ghosts definitely exist. |

I am totally in belief of ghosts. I actually have at least one living in my house. When my daughter was first born, we would sleep on the fold out couch in the living room together so daddy could actually get some sleep. I remember at least 3 or 4 nights that I would feel someone sitting at my feet. The bed would physically go down in one spot. Then one time that person sat down got up and then sat down again. I hear things often, and my husband didn't believe me until he heard something himself. Someone whispered in his ear and he turned around to me and said, "What did you say?" I was sleepy so I said, "Nothing," and turned over back to sleep. It wasn't until the next night when he told me he heard someone whispering in his ear. And he's not one to believe in strange things like spirits.
Also, on "Ghost Hunters", they have recorded an actual full body apparition on tape at the haunted hotel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. If you saw that episode, you would believe too. |
