I think as long as there is breath in your body life is worth living. There is always something new around the next corner. As one who was "morbidly" obese and had surgery to fix that I can say life is much better now however life wasn't so bad then just harder. Peoples attitudes were the hardest things to deal with when they would look at you with disgust in their eyes or just make rude comments... heck they didnt even know me or my medical conditions!!!! |

Yes...hey there's tons of things to look forward to...obese or otherwise. Besides, if being obese does not agree with you then you can always look forward to losing all the excess weight. |

I don't think so. What's the point if you can't do anything, people teasing you and all the health problems you'll have or more than likely encounter. It's also unattractive, if I were fat, I wouldn't want to live. |

Given the option I'd say yeah, it's worth living. |

Is living a life in a wheelchair worth living? Some may say no. I think any life granted is worth living. Some may have it harder than others, but should you give up on something because it is challenging? Absolutely not. ESPECIALLY when something like obesity can be controlled with diet, exercise, and extreme cases, surgery. |

course it's worth living, i think if he/she had friends who encouraged that person to work at their health so that they can do the things they cant then life would be super.. |

My best fried is 300 plus and has rmitoid arthritis
in every joint in her body, and low bone marrow count. She's making the best of her life. I suggest you do the same think of the people your life has touched. |

Is extremely fat like just heavily overweight or obese? Do you know that the average size in the US for women is a size 14?? I think that is just sad because that is overweight.. But many fat people can rebound, and become skinny in healthy ways. The question seems to encourage depressed, obese persons to commite suicide. I think the question is more... how can you let yourself get that way?! Do not blame genetics. It cannot solely be genetics because that would only play in as a factor by 40% at most.
A lot of "extremely fat" people would believe that it is still worth living life or else there would not be so many of them. Look around you. Some are teachers, some are even DOCTORS or NURSES, some are secretaries, some are (neighbors) housewives, etc. |
