No we were given free will which means that we in fact guide ourselves though life by the decisions that we make. We have the choice to do things right or wrong, however whatever we choose we should make it right for us as this is not a test run. It is in fact the only chance we get. |

No, everyone is born into a certain situation, and how you decide to go from there is up to you. Of course there are things we can't change, but ultimately it's you that decides what to do with those things and how to life your life. |

Our life is in some ways predetermined, but not entirely "mapped out" for us per se. We can feel a "calling" towards a certain type of career, organization, or political party, but that may be because we are all natural-born sign seekers.
While the rudimentary detailsof our life are all mapped out for us, for the most part, no our life is not mapped out for us at all. The "Higher Order" of the universe can give us suggestions and guidance when we ask for it, but other than that, they can't tell us what to do. That's because we all possess free choice. |

I think just the basics (like place where you live, family background, intelligence etc.). Then we have the free will how we want to decide. Though the options between which we have to decide may be determind by God/Fate/etc. I heard that what you can work out, then that was God's will too. When something does not turn out good, then God was against it. |
