If you answer yes, then you haven't been outsourced yet. |

why isn't it?
seems to me that it makes more good business sense. what good business person would not want to control his/her costs?
seems to me that it, however slowly it might, encourage more globalizing, trade, etc.
seems to me it might be the thing that wake americans up from feelings of false securities... |

No. As we outsource more and more jobs out of America, we unemploy many of the hardworking citizens of our country. This forces them to go on governement assistance placing undue stress on hardworking taxpayers. Secondly, we shouldn't become a nation completely dependent on other nations for our goods. With dependence comes the lack of freedom...the basis for which our country was formed. |

I think it is a terrible idea. Companies do it to save money, but I don't see how it saves money. ANd it does away with jobs. |

Outsourcing is great for the owners,CEO's and board members of the corp, but tough on the U.S. economy. Especially when our unemployment goes up because millions are laid off,and because the product will be made cheaper in third world countries. China, India etc.Think of the term "Pennies on the doller" |

outsourcing is being done as a result of globalization.
Which company does not want to utilize cheap labour?
if cheap labour can be used by a company from the same country, then cheapest labour can also be used by the company from another country, as a result of globalization.
The World is too small now. |

I think it's a bad idea for the quality of the product being created. For example software companies often outsource work. It can have a negative affect on the quality of the software because the person is not close to the rest of the team and can't collaborate effectivly. |
