No, I don't believe that people have to go to chuch to believe. I am not a hyprocrite, one that goes to church on Sunday and to the beer joint on Monday. The church is so full of these people who preach do as I say and not as I do, that it makes you wonder just what kind of christion they are. Idealy, the house of the Lord should be for his people to come and worship and pray together. But that spiritual connection should last longer than Monday. So I have my own connection and I like it that way |

You don't have to go to church to belive..My church is in the middle of the woods the tree's my only shelter. The way I see it if god wanted me to worship in a church he would have put it there..He did put the woods there. |

No you can still be a believer but check your bible it does say forsake not the assembly meaning God wants all of the believers to come to his blessed house to worship together. I need to practice what I preach |

Theatre does not have to take place in special buildings called theatres. See Bertolt Brecht's poem The Theatre Of Everyday Life.
Similarly, religion does not have to take place in special buildings called churches. Was it not JC who said "My father's house has many rooms"?
In my opinion, he was making the same point as Brecht. Location is an incidental detail and not central to the experience. |

It doesn't say that it's a sin in the bible as far as I know... but I know for a fact you can be saved without going to church, as long as you believe with all your heart that Jesus Christ is your savior and died for your sins. |

I think there are alot of good people who believe in God and that is wonderful. But I think God gave us a church family for a reason. I dont know what I would do without mine. Sometimes people get hurt and its hard to keep going but we have to get our lives focused on Jesus and the promise he has for us. We cant look at the "junk" that goes on because Satan is lurking around trying to devour anyone he can anyway he can. So Ithink to live that close walk you need to be in a church. |
