I don't think it is the money that makes people happy it is the things they get with the money. Alao, you can have airplanes and a multi-million dollar house and still be unhappy, unless you have someone to share it with. I think having people you love around makes having money alot happier. You getto enjoy the finer things in life. |

No absolutely not...I've seen it ruin people too much to believe it makes happiness.
In fact, I know of someone who won a lottery and quit her job and 2 weeks later was hit by a drunk driver and is now paralyzed from the neck down. All the money in the world can't give you a normal life back like that. If she had still had her job, she wouldn't be out driving that night and never would have gotten hit....coincidence? |

I am here to tell you NO!! My reason is, I married a man who was wealthy, he had a wealthy family. The guy was abusive to me. His MONEY MEANT NOTHING to me. I was wanting to be loved, I was wanting affection and attention, I was wanting appreciation and security.
Guess what, that bas!@#$ money could not buy his way out of jail either!! |

It's not. It depends also that where you are. You can easily live with no or little money on an island(with natural resources) and have x100 better life than many people. Also, you can buy nice things with money. Depends on your situation. |

No I don't believe that at all. However, I do know that many Americans feel this is true. You can't take money or anything with you when you die. It's all just STUFF. Happiness isn't just one purchase away like most people feel. Of if I just had these new clothes I'd be happy or this new car, etc. etc.
