Why me and His Pontif were hangin like on tuesday, and he looks at this whole herd of nuns and he's like "check this out", and he waves his hand, and all of the nuns dresses went up above their heads. You have never seen so much virgin asss since you bombed the mosques in Mozul. After that, we was up in the popes crib, and the channel kept changing on the tv while we were watching, but it turns out he just had the remote hidden under his robes, so thats's not really magic, but we were so stoned it seemed like it. |

There is a lot of unknown in this world, all sorts of shades of gray. I would say that it is possible; nothing is ever just black or white. There is magic in the world all around us everyday, be it your faith in God and his miracles or just the magic of life there are always things happening that doctors and scientist just cant explain. Just depends on how you look at things, how open minded you are. |

Um, I have never seen it but I believe the pope could probably be trained to do some simple card tricks or sleight of hand maneuvers. If you mean things like shoot fireballs from his fingers, then no. |

he has no power except over Catholics, which some of exault him almost as high as God like Popes, priests, or whoever can forgive you of your sins...only God can do that...he is just another human elected to a position...he might be able to pull a quarter out from behind your ear, but that's as far as it goes. |

Well, the pope is a 16th level cleric, so yes he can do magic tricks, but its divine magic, not arcane magic, so fireballs are out.
If the D&D talk seems a little geeky and dumb to you, that's what I think of people who take 2,000 year old fantasy writing and try to demand it's reality. Holy water is just water. Blessings are basically highly-ritualized compliments. Lets not play pretend with our real lives. |
