I seldom tip, beleiving it should not be compulsary. And who decided what services deserve a tip and what services never get tipped. It seems mostly women benefit from tipping. Most people will never admit to "not tipping" as its not cool to be honest about it. Americans tip more than Canadians, for sure. Asians never tip in their own culture. Hairdressers feel cheated if you dont tip, but who would never think of giving the girl at the hospital who cleans the floor a tip? And that is what my wife does. She deserves a tip as much as any waitress in my eyes..charity begins at home...For poor service, I give them a tip: Try a new Career! |

i only tip waitress at restuarants that bring me food and drinks.
Tipping bartenders is the most rediculous thing I have ever heard, unless you want to be nice. Oh here is 1-2 dollars for holding a glass under a nossle and pulling a lever. However, if they make me a kick butt drink that actually right, and maybe throw in an extra for me or my woman I will Definately tip. but just for getting a beer, forget it! or if the drink is horrible, ill tip once |

You betcha! If the pizza delivery person is going to drive to my place..I tip! If the waiter is fun and attentive..I tip big! I also tip delivery people..flowers..yard worker. I think it is fun to surprise the mailman and UPS man during the Holidays..but they can be hard to catch! |

I do not believe in tipping, although I do tip.
I think tipping should be outlawed - and the employer should be forced to pay the entier amount of the server's pay. Yes, that means ligher prices for the food, but then it is fairer to everyone. |

When I like the service. If I lived in the US, I'd tip 10% usually or more if I liked the service - or nothing if I disliked it (I've done it already, in the US, in fact) cause I don't mind being hated by waiters/waitresses who don't do a good job. Plus, if you want to know, in my job I don't get bonuses, tips, whatever, so what the hell! |

A courteous attentive service with a smile to make my guests day. Timely sevice, be there when needed, first things first.
I will not taste the soup for my guest if it was bad and if he demanded that I do taste it.... ha ha ha |
