| Do you work for money or pleasure? |
my father has a pretty successful business and he want me to get a commerce degree....so that one day ill take it over (HA)
anyway....
what he does, lets face it, is boring as hell....his business supplies hospitals with medical equipment/supplies....blah
but doing that pretty much garauntees a sh*t load of money for me
but thing is, i think i wanna be either a teacher or a nurse lol
....obviously the money is far worse and probably the hours too...
so what would you do?

i work for money so i can go out and do things that give me pleasure, but if i were you id try out one of the ones you want to do and if its not what you expected you could always fall back onto the job he wants you to do, then you'll have some sort of security in a career |

i get what you mean.
you can work and enjoy what you do, but you dont get paid as much as you want.
OR you work and hate the job but get paid.
I say do what you enjoy doing because thats the only way you are gonna get through life. thats the only way you'll be happy.
i want to be a nurse to because i like helping people, the money might suck, but you'd still feeel greatful for helping out. |

wow thats crazy. I work for both. Im going to school for Physical therapy and sports medicine. I love helping ppl i have been around sports my whole life. Not to mention i have been through physical therapy for like a year and a half ha. I love the atmosphere =) hopefully it all works out for you. Go with your heart. If its teaching then you should teach. But just not in florida the pay sucks haha its much better up north. =) |
