I think it's an easy choice -
1. Accept that God exists and that there is hope and purpose in the universe.
2.Face a universe without God, which is a sad,lonely,pointless place. A place where all things are permissable. The strong survive at the expense of the weak. Where we are mortal,temporary in nature. Without inate rights.(No maker to endow all men with rights to life,liberty and pursuit of happiness.)
When we so casually dismiss God, we cast aside more than we first think.

Actually, science has not failed. The issue is with the education system. Although I suspect it has more to do with the inherent IQ of people. To understand science, you need to understand math and to have a good mind, the sort that can think abstractly yet keeping your thoughts following the path of reason.
Unfortunately, understanding things like bounded manifolds requires an IQ above 130. Considering only 2.5% of people are two SDs or more above the median, then it makes sense most people need to be religious.
For them, science is much less understandable than religion, and the reasoned logic behind complex mathematical models is much less accessible than faith.
Also, since the majority of people need to be religious, most scientists need to pretend they believe in God, and even pretend they can't answer your questions.
It'd be a waste of time trying to. Their time is better spent discovering ways to alleviate illnesses, creating technology, implementing new computer models, etc. |

personally, 100% he does, its just hard to overcome thinking about it, you will have to come to your on belief system. Science is so fasinating and interesting, and I believe in a lot of it but there is no way I came from a monkey, and fabulos God created me, and he is always there for me to talk to whenever I need him, and is nonjudgemental, what better of a friend could you ask for? No one will ever know, its just what you know in your heart, and the more you start thinking about it, the more you will question yourself |
