Does a parent who's in prison have any rights or say so?
Lets say a parent who's in prison have any right or a say so to his or her child, if someone else is taking care of the kids while they're serving time?
Yes & No. Well, if the parent has a strong & positive respectible relationship w/ the child and care givers, the parent should have some input. A person being in jail does not always determine their worth as a person capable of natural relationships w/ people who are not in jail. If the child loves the parent. This should not even be a question. The parent is in a bad situaton right now but they still love the child and want to be a part of their lives. A discussion by all parties should be had in order to outline the true nature and extent of everyone's relatuonship and intent. You'll know then.

Not if someone was awarded custody or guardianship over the child. Then the parent has little or no say.

depends on what it is... they just want the best for you, so no matter where there at they will always try to protect you... even when it is impossible for them to

Does prison make that person a bad parent? Definitely should have some input for child's upbringing. Might depend on why person is in prison.

people who are incarcerated have very limited rights .this also applies to any childeren on the outside . personaly if i thought they cared about their childeren they wouldnt have gotten locked up to begin with
i say to hell with them !!! prison is like time out for adults , and as you know you dont talk to the kid in time out chair so too bad for them

First thing is how old is the child?second thing what do the child want? third how long will the parent be in prison? what is the parent in prison for? answer all of those question before you make a decision.

a person can still have parental right while they are in prison. if they had their parental rights terminated then they are not allowed to communicate with their child.

If that parent took part your development to your knowledge then yes respect those who's your debts are due.
