I am a very well educated professional woman and I can tell you everyone at one time or another has been stressed out and felt that there is no other way to cope with life than to kill themself. But the truth is, its not the answer. Hormones play a major role in the way we feel about ourselves and in situations. Stress causes these hormones to unbalance. Women also have more hormones to keep in line then men do. So try taking a break, get some fresh air, drink your water, look at what your eating and change your diet to a healthier one and just chill. Life is a rollercoaster, you will have great moments and terrible moments, but just hang on! |

i think it'z normal being stressful but i think u are being over-stressed... you really need to calm down...school can be frustratin..but you can go to a counselor or talk to some one...it will really help...

Everyone gets stressed. It can cause all kinds of symptoms. If you're getting so upset about things that you want to kill yourself, then seek help. A guidance councilor, or a therapist would be a good idea. Or talk to your family doctor, he/she would be able to recommend someone to help you. |

I would say your over-stressing. I have gotten so fed up I've cut myself...never to kill myself. But it's not cool and it's totally not the way to solve problems. Talk to someone. A parent, a sibling, a friend. School guidence counclers would be happy to talk to you. If your school work is stressing you out talk to you teacher or get after school tutoring or something. Don't let something like homework get you so upset. Hurting yourself may seem like it's helping but trust me, it only causes more problems. Talking with someone you can trust is the best way to relieve stress, usually another person can give you help or tips to calm down.

When I was 12 I had an accident. I got caught on a rope in a tree-fort and it cut off my circulation(strangled) A family member found me and screamed. Local guys playing b-ball came and rescued me. I coded twice on route to hospital. Coma for two days. Doctors told parents I could be brain-damaged for life. I came out of it with no problems. I was a miracle. I am now 41 and have a beautiful 13 year old and have done so much in my life. So I ask you this plain and simple. What is in your future? Check back here when you are 41 and let us know what you have accomplished. |

no, it is not normal, but it is understandable. i think you need to find a positive way to deal with your stress. life is so good and it would be such a sad thing if you were to give it all up because of your schooling...maybe when you come to a stopping place with your homework, take a break, get something to eat (like ice cream) or do something fun. if anything, all that you said is a n indication that you are a hard working student and that you care about what kind of an effort you put forth. i admire your perserverence! |

Just take some time out and breathe and calm down. Your life if too precious to waste because you got mad. When you look back once it has passed you will se it was just a moment of passing stress.

I understand your stress level, but suicide is not the option, WHATSOEVER!
Instead, study with a group, or go in for tutoring. Most of all, study somewhere quiet, because in these places you will be most productive!!

Listen I know life can be very stressful but try to look at the bigger picture, homework and school are all going to pass, but you really have to try and find a way to handle stress better now so when there is something even harder to deal with you can handle it better. some suggestions: yoga, meditation, reading, exercise, music, PRAYER, friends, PRAYER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

yepp..happened sophomore year when i took ap euro. but it pays off..i see it now. ive gotten into 8 out of the 10 colleges i applied to..and im still waiting for two more.
but yes, everynight the last 4 yrs i wanted to do that lol. just take it a day at a time |

Yep, it happens to me all the time! Sometimes it gets so frustrating stupid homework!!!
More than that though I usually just wanna throw my stupid f-ing laptop and my homework out of the window of my window which happens to be on the third story!!!!
But really afterwards I tend to cool down or end up buying a stress doll (which does not usually last long because of extreme abuse).
Some people just get more stressed than others. I seriously suggest the stress doll, really helps. |
