Yes, I know two people who have won several hundreds of thousands of pounds. One lost it all with drinking and gambling, the other spent it on his house and his kids.
I went to Paris and bought a ticket, my first abroad and won about E60. I left the money with the hosts I was staying with and they won about the same, using the same money. They played again and won, but less, then again, and won even less. It just goes to show that greed gets the better of them!
I know I will never win the lottery because I am already a millionaire... I am achieving my dream career, have my ideal partner and husband to be, have great kids and a great life. We will enjoy the ups and downs that life gives us together in the house with a white picket fence.
Speaking of millionaires, I bought a lottery ticket that I haven't checked.... ;-) |

About 12 years ago I won 5 out of 6 in the NJ Pick Six, back before they changed the initial 6 of 6 from $1 to 2 million, and reduced all the 5 and 4 awards. Won $7,665. It was big to me. Too bad, the 6th number was only three digits away from mine, so missed the $6 million. Oh well, a miss is as good as a mile. |

i live in another country (not America) and we have lottery cards .
so i know somebody from my village who traveled to another city to sell his orange crop to some merchant and there was a man who was selling lottery cards and he had just one card ,so the man i know bought that last card and give half of it to the merchant for free. and the card won the biggest price. so each one of them got 15 millions . but the merchant gave 1 million to the man i know as a present cuz he gave him the card half for free. |
