Once you figured out what sort of business you want start up a website specialised in the product you want to sell.

If that seems too hard then I would suggest visting www.ebay.co. or www.ebay.co.uk and get an ebay account.

They have lots of information on how to start selling on there. Plus you get all the tools you need to start up.
You also get a shop where you place all your items for sale. The fees for listing are free and the shop costs as little as 4.99 - 6.00 a month if your new to it.

Don't forget though about taxs and VAT when selling anywhere online. I would suggest going to HM customs & Excises at: www.hmrc.gov.uk if you are from the UK and also the Inland Revenue.

Most of the sites show attractive front page but you will not find any introduction of the offering company (about us), owner, address, phone numbers etc. All such companies, who do not give any background or address are normally bogus and after swallowing money of the affiliates, close down the website, creates fresh and again come to you for another cheating, as they have already got your email ID. So, don't rely on such websites, having not contained any background of the business. From the aforesaid website addresses, you can judge yourself that, either some one is not opening, or the other don't have any background, address, name of the owner.
