I love boxing. I was in karate for 3 years and just recently wanted to start boxing. Im a really tough chick and know how to fight. =p but anyways I have really been wanting to get one that hangs from the ceiling. I haven't been able to find anything cheap.
A buddy of mine some years ago bought a large duffel bag from a military surplus store, he stuffed it with old clothes and pretty much anything he could find and hung it in his garage for a punching bag. I'm certain stuffing it with a couple of plastic bags filled with sand or dirt would also get the job done.
Most duffel bags come with handles anyway so you could hang from the ceiling. I hope this helps, and good luck.
