Heck, I like to vote, but sometimes... PSHAWWW, I just COULDN'T vote for ANY of the Answers. So, eventually I guess one DOES have be The Best.... but hey, I hope whichever it is doesn't get ANY Stars.
Pretty jolly easy to do a Best Answer, if say there's only one other, and that's an idiot. Just cos you can beat an idiot doesn't entitle YOU to 5 Stars. (Consider yourself lucky to even get Best Answer!) :-P |

This is hilarious! I have seen questions about why people get so wrapped up in the point system, but this is the first posting I have seen that is upset with the stars. I bet you were the kid in class that always did so well you ruined the curve for the rest of us. Repeat after me, I am a good person and people like me. |

It is immature to expect something that will be weighed and considered by someone else. May be the answer they were looking for was only partly revealed. May be your answer was best of the rest but not close to solving their problem completely.
Feeling insulted for your own opinion is like kicking yourself in the back for doing something, and then again having something done is better than not doing at all, at the same time getting less than 5 stars is better than having no stars at all.
Feeling insulted for something that you do, makes you loose sight of logic and productivity. It induces irrational thoughts that eventually lead to irrational behaviour.
I am somewhat of a cynical person, so what my friends tell me, I feel that it is very important to select the right words to express yourself, that will enatil the reaction and future perceptions of those to whom it concerns and it is heard by.
Look at this way -Whatever does not kill you makes you stronger. |

I see what your getting at but no it doesn't insult me. A couple questions I have asked have gotten only one or two responses and quite frankly none of them answered the question to my satisfaction but I was glad they took the time to respond so I gave them 4 stars. |
