Don't know. You're boss is a bit of an idiot by the sound of it. No wonder there are so many privacy issues and blunders. |

You are not entitled to a permanent spot without a permanent job. You would not be entitled to a computer regardless.
The employer determines what equipment you need to do your tasks, not you. |

If you feel that strongly about it then ask him, but he doesn't have to by law... |

There are no "regulations" about anyone having their own seat and computer. Whether it would be sensible or not is another matter. |

No there isn't any law that he has to get you anything unless you are working in an unsafe environment and then it would be their responsibility to provide any safety equipment you need but otherwise they don't have to provide anything. Your best bet would be to talk to them about this and ask if you can have something more permanent. |

No... You're not entitled to a computer or even the same chair in any job. There are hundreds of jobs where people get moved around and dont have ANY access to a computer. If you want to be treated better then you should change company/department. Most office jobs give you some kind of stability, so one that doesn't probably isnt the best one to be in. |

Just be thankful you have a job and sit anywhere that's available. If you don't get your work done then explain to him that you don't have a place to do it. I don't know of any regulation that requires you to have a permanent seat and computer. Have you asked for one and explained your situation? Try that, other words don't worry about it. |

Your boss is not obliged to provide you with a desk or computer, but you would think he would have the common sense to arrange you to have one. Sorry, but the best you can do is to ask him if you can have your own desk. |

To get the very best out of his employees! It is in the very best interests of your employer to provide adequate seating and equipment !!I have never known it where a secretary has been expected to stand up all day!! |

perhaps a seat but not a computer. You will just sit around surfing the internet and doing online shopping. I would keep you focused and on your toes. |
