Do you mean suicide? Yeah, I think it says that doing that will bar entrance into Heaven. |

Uh, yeah. Just look at the movies like. The Order, Dogma, and other movies in that category.
It's a sin. And it would automaticaly bar you from entering heaven. |

i think it would be considered under the ten commandment...thou shalt not murder. murder and suicide may seem like 2 totally different scenarios to some. but i think they're pretty much in the same category here. |

Yes commiting suicide (if that's what you're referring to) is considered sin because...
"First, it is disobedience to the command of God, “You shall not murder” (Exod. 20:13). And disobedience to God’s commands is sin.
Second, it is presumption upon God’s sovereign prerogatives to give and take life. God alone can create a human person, and therefore personhood belongs to God. We have no right to dispose of ourselves or others as we please. The Lord has sole rights over what he has made. Murder and suicide intrude on the sacred ground where God alone is the giver and taker.
Third, it is failure to trust in God for the help needed to survive and cope. And the Bible says that whatever is not from faith is sin (Rom. 14:23).
Therefore, we are on firm biblical ground when we say: it is sin take your own life..."
Now the question is: is this the "unforgivable sin"? |

because its wrong how do u think the world would be if God just let every body do whatever they wanted.some people say no rules is awsome. how would u like it if someone came and killed your family member and didn't get punished for it. what if you had something very vauable to u and some one was just allowed to take it the world would be in complete caous(i don't think i spelled that right) like 100 times worse than it is now. |

I'm not possitive, but if you were a Christian, you wouldn't take your life. Not if you're a REAL one, anyway, so I guess you wouldn't have gone to heaven anyway, but I'm not God, so I wouldn't know. If you study the Bible, maybe it would say more. |

yur question,
your question , Does the bible condem the taking of ones life? the answer is no it does not condem it but it also does not condone it, it is a sin in Gods eyes to take ones own life but all sins can be forgiven except one and that is Blaspheme |
