Yes, the true God indeed has a name. Actually he has many names. Mainly his name is Jehovah. His other names are Yahwah or YHWH, Ancient of Days, etc. |

I am not sure what difference the name makes. God is obviously a general reference, but it's just a title. You would call him whatever you guys feel comfortable with as your relationship develops. Some people call their Dads 'Dad' others 'Daddy' or 'Popsie' but it's a title and not necessarily his real name. |
