search withdraw bid on ebay and it will tell you how to withdraw your bid. Dont worry about all the speel about your ratings it has no effect. Then rebid again. You can say you accidentally keyed in the wrong amount as I have done this before and it is fine to do. |

When you bid a highest amount, ebay bids on your behalf up to that amount and no more. So if you want a watch and the bidding starts at £10 and the max you put in is £100, you will not necessarily pay that amount. You may be the only bidder and therefore only pay the final amount of £10. If your max bid is simply just too high, then retract your bid and resubmit a lower one. Email the seller to clarify what you have done and why. If you are trying to retract a bid with less than 12 hours to go though, I don't think that is possible.

i don't think you can, but Ebay does the bid for you and i don't think you have to pay for the amount you bid (mostly) |
