Its up tot he seller whether they want to sell it at the amount you won it for.
Having a reserve o n an item allows the seller to withdraw from the sale if bidding does not come up to that mark. |

No you just don't win it. Although I have bid under the reserve before and when the item wasn't won, I emailed the seller and offered him the price I bid again and he accepted it. |

If it is less than thr reserve then you won't get it - unless the seller will decide to sell it to you at the price you won it for! |

No you won't have to pay the reserve price. The seller might accept your offer though. If not it will be put up for auction again. |

you don't get it, but the dealer does know of your interest |

The seller probably will choose to not sell but relist it instead.
Rarely, the seller may offer it anyway, but the transaction would not be covered by eBay's rules (since the sale didn't happen in eBay).
I once sold a "parts car" before eBay offered that category. EBay had a mandatory $50 fee for cars so I put a "reserve" of about 1200 (I knew it wouldn't meet but that was the smallest point I could justify the fee). I sold it to the highest bidder for his bid price. |

you havn't won it, because it hasn't not meet the reserve. |

think the auction is closed as unsuccessful, but might depend on how the seller reacts. |

You won nothing as the item is not sold unless it goes for higher than the reserve price. |

You've got the wrong end of the stick - a reserve means the item 'must' be at or above that specified price to sell, otherwise the auction doesn't count. This is made more challenging by the fact that the reserve price rarely appears on the description |

you dont win it.
You can only win it if it hits the reserve...thats the point of putting a reserve on! |

You lost. They will probably relist the item so bid higher next time. You can also try contacting them and ask them to Buy it Now for the reserve price. |

u wont win it unless it meets the reserve price. but the seller can consider it and if he wants to accept it he will send u a message. good luck tho!! |

If you won the item you will pay what your bid price was. The seller can reject your bid if you don't meet the reserve or they can accept it if they think it's close enough. |

The seller can offer you the item at the price you were willing to buy but you don't have to purchase it and he does not have to sell it to you for the lower price either. Basically there is no binding contract. |
