It's a scam, period .You didn’t enter a lottery. All you are going to win is an empty bank account and more trouble than you ever dreamed of. Possibly a “courier” bill for a few thousand to “deliver” a “prize” you’ll never see. If you want to bother, forward the fraudulent email to phishing@cc.yahoo-inc.com, spam@uce.gov, and 419.fcd@usss.treas.gov.

It's a scam you shouldn't even respond to those things. How can you win a lottery if you didn't enter one? And you would only need to verify the winning numbers or ticket. Why do so many people fall for this? |

Anytime someone asks you to give them money to get money, it's a scam. even if they send you a check first and ask you to send part of it back for any reason, don't do it. it may take up to a month but the check will bounce and you will be held responsible for that money |

I hope you bank with Wachovia, because your identity is as good as gone. If people would stop falling for this type of stuff, it would go away. You have been scammed, and if you send them any money to get money you didn't enter to win, you're deserving of what you get. |

This is a complete scam and I hope you don't fall for it. Ask yourself if you did buy a ticket for this lottery and if you did then there are details on your ticket telling you how to claim. Ignore it completely. No lottery asks for a substantial amount of money to give you a prize. Ask them to take this fee out of your prize money and send you the balance |

Ignore it, it sounds really dodgy.I had a spate of emails stating that I had won money or they had cheques waiting for me. I think its a scam to get money and your personal details off you. If you have any details about the firm contact your local trading standards.
Incidentally, my dad had a letter through the post a few months ago from a supposed firm of solicitors in Spain saying he had won a Spanish lottery because he had recently purchased travel insurance from a leading UK insurance firm covering a recent holiday. They stated if he sent them XXX amount of money to cover 'admin' costs they would release the cheque. He contacted the insurance firm and they said it was a scam and that they had been inundated with queries about it. |

You have fallen for an Identity Scam. If you gave any account or credit card details you need to contact your bank ASAP to cancel the accounts & reissue while you still have money left.
You also need to check your statements & credit record and despute any you do not recognise.
Report it to FBI and the Office of Fair Trading - www.oft.gov.uk/consumer/scams.
Under UK lottery the ticket holder must check the numbers for that week's draw and claim (small prizes at the shop were you purchesed the ticket) larger prizes by Royal Mail recorded delivery to lottery office. You can join a lottery syndicate to improve your chances and remove hassle of checking tickets and claiming your winning cheque (correct English spelling). No genuine prize will ever ask for payment to release prize.
ICS courier appear to be a real courier but based in Germany not UK - as listed on Yahoo search as one of hundreds of compaines at Expo international show in Spain |
