You don't have to pay for it. You might get a negative feedback for it however. |

Unfortunately no.
If you didn't hit buy now and just bid, then you could of contacted the seller to remove your bid.
But now, if you really don't want to complete the auction, then I guess you have to negotiate with your seller to not completing it.
Or you could just forget abuot it and do nothing, and receive some e-mails from the seller asking you to pay... and then get negative feedback posted. |

Just email the seller and tell them you didn't realize the item would cost a wire fee and shipping fees that high and say you are sorry but wish to withdraw your bid. They cannot leave negative feedback anymore. You can leave negative on them though and eBay will put a mark against your account if they file a complaint. Just one will mean nothing at all. You can dispute the mark with eBay if you feel deceived. The seller will most likely agree to a mutual withdrawal to get their seller's fee back quickly.
I have used eBAy for 10 years as a seller and been stiffed many times, nothing ever comes of a complaint to eBay. One time I reported a guy for fraud and they suspended him. I looked and not many days later he was back in business. |

They can cancel the transaction if they feel like being nice.
Failing that if you don't pay they will have to open a dispute against you. |

no you cant, but you can appeal to ebay if the wire fee was not clearly listed on their listing.
sounds dodgey. even if it was listed on their listing, inform them that you do not intend to pay and that they may leave you negative feedback. who cares anyway. |

You can ask them to back out, and if they agree you can do it.
If they didn't discuss the charges with you, you can ask eBay to intervene, and see if they agree (dispute).
If you didn't read the auction carefully and see that there would be extra charges, you may have to live with a strike against you. They are allowed to add reasonable postage/ delivery charges, but they have to make sure you are aware of where they are.
Good luck. |

Why dont you just do the right thing and pay for the item. You should of clarified shipping before you bid all you did was cost the seller money and waste his time cause you didnt clarify things in advance. If it wasnt clear from the listing you should of contacted him. |

you have to have the seller accept your bid withdraw. he can hold you to it, but you dont have to pay. you may get a negative feedback.. but i think buyers are not allowed to get neg feedback anymore.
work it out with the seller. |

Technically it's a binding contract, but seriously doubt anyone will legally come after you unless it's a lot of money. Also you can get out of it if the anything they want now such as a wire fee wasn't in the original listing. So yes you can not pay or refuse to pay, but they will leave negative feedback and possibly report you. |

You should have read the auction terms clearly before bidding as you entered a binding contract but I don't think you should sent money doing a wire transfer as it is very unsafe. Use Paypal if possible. If this is an item from a legit seller....the only way you can back out is to ask the seller nicely to cancel your bid so Ebay can refund the fees charged for an item won but not paid for or shipped. Otherwise they can leave you negative feedback and Ebay will give you a strike against your account. |

It is possible however the seller may/will give you a bad recommendation which may effect other bidding.
They won't send the item in tell they get paid. you can explain to pay-pal that the additional charges won't disclose when you place your bid. |

it is because ive had the same thing happen to me , all you have to do is say it was a mistake and you didnt mean to bid on the item , just be very polite to the seller and say that you are really sorry xx |
