Did you use paypal? If so, there will be a claim and you can respond there. I also had issues with delivery. Paypal will open a claim dispute where you will be given the opportunity to give your side of the story. Make sure to give all the information at one time, you can't enter multiple replies to their request for information.
If you insured it, you get the money back when you file an insurance claim unless you specifically request the buyer to get it. If he claims he didn't receive it, and you have signature stating differently, there is no worry. |

If he filed the claim as non received goods then he has just lost. He tried to con you and you have verifiable proof. The claims department only goes by tracking numbers. If they are able to tell intentional fraud possibly by this instance or any other instance he/she may lose their account and some money. |

Send all the shipping info to Paypal, including that they recieved it. Once they recieve it, it's not your problem. |

Collect all of your proof that the buyer picked up the item...the proof of insurance, the trace, any receipts from mailing the item...and forward that to PayPal. I had a similar thing happen to me at the Niagara Falls Post Office. I had proof of car insurance sent to me there General Delivery, and, when I arrived to pick it up, I was told that I had all ready picked it up. There was even a document signed with my name! So, check with the postmaster at the post office where the item was picked up, too. |

If you have proof that he has received the item then posting it on eBay should be good enough. Contact eBay's dispute area to get it resolved. |

Make sure you keep a copy of the insurance and soemthing that says he signed for it. Contact PayPal dispute center so that they know this is a case of Mail Fraud. Contact the post Office where the package was shipped to, then contact the buyer and inform him that you have proof he signed for it. Inform him that you will start a USPS investigation into mail fraud which is a felony. |

File your response using the methods provided by ebay and paypal. Since you have proof, you will win the dispute. |
