I usually send items within 4 business days after receiving their payment. Most of the time it's the same day or the very next day after I receive payment for the items, but I always state in my listings that it will be within 4 business days as sometimes things come up and I'm not always able to get to the post office that day or the next. But at least since I put it in the listing, the buyer knows the general time frame that I send it. |

We send it as soon as we get payment for the item.
Basically, if people want the item urgently, then they will pay urgently.
It works two ways people!

I usually send it the next day, unless it is a Saturday as i may not be able to get there before the post office closes at 12.30. You're supposed to give a turn around time in your ebay ad. it should say how quickly or what days tehy post the item. hope it comes soon. |

that depends on wether they pay by cheque, postal order, or pay pal. if it's cheque wait until the cheque has cleared and in you account,if by postal order,send item of as soon as p/o arrives.pay pal, send item off as soon as you get the time. |

I try to send it straight away. Although generally I will sell items on the weekend because more people will be shopping so then I would more than likely send it monday. |

my boyfriend is always buying and selling on ebay and he sends the stuff right away,it just good manners if nothing else! annoying when your waiting on something though isnt it |

I usually send the same day or next day as long as I have CLEARED payment.
Some powersellers take longer to send out because of their high sales.
Send your seller an email and ask where it is. |

I wait until the money clears. Sometimes it takes a little longer for the money to clear so your seller may still be waiting. And sometimes shipping estimates are just what they are estimates, and take a lot longer. |

I usually send within 24hours of payment clearing if during the week.
Larger items 2 days as it sometimes takes a bit longer to arrange a courier.
Some people with full time jobs take a week to post as they can only get to the PO on weekends.
Before bidding on an item check the buyers feedback rating, the new star system should give you an idea of how quickly they dispatch. |

Don't forget that there have been postal strikes in the UK. This will have held up parcels. The seller will probably have waited until your payment has cleared first, and that can take a few days. |

I bought an item on Tues 17th, on the listing the seller states that he would dispatch the item after payment was cleared after one working day....so one would assume payment was cleared on Wed 18th and dispatched on Thurs 19th?!
I have just emailed them asking when it would arrive as someone needs to be here to sign/accept delivery......don't reckon my chances of gettin a reply though!!!
I have never sold anything on eBay before, but would send same day as payment received out of simple coman courtesy;o]

EBay gives you 7 days to post, I'm glad you have the free time to go to the post office at a whim, many people have real jobs !
The postal service is in disarray and eBayers can hardly be blamed for that !
It is however wrong to state that "items will arrive within one working day" as unless you have a crystal ball, there is no way of knowing when an item will arrive !
If you want something fast go to the shop! or at least read the rules of ebay and stop whingeing!
