What makes you think that? Girls make just as many mistakes as guys do. It doesn't have anything to do with smarts either. I know some very intelligent girls who make really dumb choices, such as having sex before marriage and being an unwed mom. While it does take two to make that happen, all it takes is one "smarter" person saying "NO". While it is also true that girls mature at a faster rate than boys (by a whole 3 years), that has nothing to do with making smarter choices. It would show me that girls are smarter when there are no more teen pregnancies. After all, it's us that's getting pregnant, not them. And I'm not talking about rape...that's a whole different subject, and is a violent crime. I'm talking about smart choices. I'm hoping that today's ladies will start being smarter with planning their futures. <*)))>< |

I think the sexes are pretty evenly balanced. Men tend to be more analytical than women. I think both sexes can find something good to say about one another and their ability to think! I, for one, like the way men think because they don't mess their thinking up with a lot of emotional rhetoric. |

Both intelligence and "the stoopids" are about evenly distributed between the genders. However, there is a strong case for girls being more focused. It's a natural selection thing from the caveman days and the respective roles the genders fulfill. Each is the way they are for improved survival odds and is not due to any shortcomming. |

I think so. Afterall, when we need to fix something we usually do it ourselves with no training. Whereas, guys have been taught from just about birth about cars, tools, etc. |

I'm hoping that gender doesn't have a bearing on intelligence overall.
I do think that each gender has its own areas of specialty, but there are plenty of exceptions to this.
One thing that always strikes me is women's ability to multitask better than men. I would be amazed to find a man who could multitask as well as I have seen women do it. So men, if you're out there multitasking like mad, I applaud you! |

I mean, when i was in little school, I was spending more time in class trying to find a way to make my classmates laugh than listening to the teacher, and usually, that's what boys do.
Girls are acting more mature than guys in school, taking things more seriously ( well it's sure that there is an esception) I remember the first time i entered in a class room at the med school, 93% girls ( that was the jackpot ) and that's because girls get better grades, and they get accepted in better school easily than guys...
The real intelligence between girls and boys is about equal, even if the brain of a guy is bigger, it's the way guys actually use their intelligence that makes the girl look smarter ! |

hell no! The average adult male IQ is 90.The average adult female IQ is 83.Of course there certain cases where either male or female beats each other, but in most cases females are not only less intellectual then males, but very dogmatic and easy to seduce. |
