my younger brother has his email crammed full of these things every day, because he was a sucker and fell for one. Now his box is crammed full of fake stuff every day.
Anyway, whenever he "wins" something he has a limited amount of time to claim it, and they usually, after several emails, want his BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER and other critical info in order to make an electronic deposit. You wake up the next day to find your bank account was cleaned out.
Of course, you should never have to give out your bank account number to claim a prize. Don't ever do it.
Another thing to be very wary of is being told you have to fly to some third world country to claim your prize. I have heard some people get kidnapped and held for randsome this way. |

They are not there to give you money but they will take money from you. I am sure they are asking you to send processing fee. If they are don't do any thing, just bin it. |

Do not and I mean Do not send them any money for processing fees! This sounds like an Internet scam! Also do not give your social security number or bank account number. |

It is a well known scam. If you have not bought a ticket for a lottery why would any one give you money?
Once you give them your personal and bank account details they will clear you out. Do not even reply to them. |

Sounds like a scam.
If you had won such a large amount, the company would make contact you directly, eg by phone. And there wouldnt be a time limit like "you have two weeks to claim this prize" This sounds like the hundreds of emails I get every day saying that I've won scholarships, internships, prizes, a pink Razr phone (!) etc. Its the internet, get used to it |

bet they want $399 handling fee, before you can claim your $1m |

DO NOT believe everything you read about winning money or the "I need your help w/ my dead father's inheritance"...all CONS. All they want is your account information and the next thing you know your broke and have to proof other then an email. |
