A lot of places won't hire you as a waitress at 16, but when I was 16 I worked at a hostess at a restaurant and then started serving there after being there for a couple years. Made amazing money.
I also worked at a minor league baseball stadium as a picnic server which was REALLY fun, plus I got to watch baseball games for free and got free food!
Look on monster.com and see if there are any job openings for teenagers in your area!
Also, I babysat a lot when I was younger and got paid $6.50/hr + $2/hr for each additional child. It was kind of a pain because I had to watch 4 children at once, but I made great money!

work at a clothing store, like american eagle, or somewhere you like. you get fifty percenet off at american eagle if you work there (on anything!) as well as two pairs of ten dollar jeans at the beginning of each season. theres fun music playing and the skills you learn as you go will help in life as an adult. i highly recommend it. |

You could work at a store you shop at and get employee discount when you shop there. At some stores you can get 5% of what you sell, but don't be a hog at the register. As you get promoted the employee discount become higher and higher. Sometimes the job maybe tiring but, not all jobs are easy you know. |

well it depends on you. day cares are ok and waittress can be good from the tips and considering the people you work with. but there are lot of jobs out there you just have to keep your eyes open |

You could work at a grocery store, be a waitress or waiter at a restaurant. Work at a gas station. In your neighbor hood you could go to-door-to-door chores. Like raking the leaves, vacuum, take care of pets while their away and many different things. You could babysit. |

Hmm, are you good at sports?? If so, then there's always coaching for the kiddies... Great pay as well! Anyway, there are restaurants and the mall too... If that doesn't get ya, then there's life guarding, working at big amusement parks (doing something you very well enjoy), or working at hotels. Umm, have you considered working at an animal shelter? It's great interacting with animals, sometimes for volunteer, sometimes not, but also you get to meet very diverse people... And, hey, the animals are pretty awesome and adorable. Besides that, however, you can also try bar tending (for something more upbeat and fun)... It's basically like hanging out and making money at the same time... Oh wait, 16, right??? lol, it's an option for the future I guess. ;D
