My school was doing that too, here are some tips:
*have a bake sale
*wrap christmas presents at a store
*Make cards (valentines, christmas, thankyou, ect.) and sell them
*if you play an instrument, set out your case (to collect moola) and play some where like the mall, or a grocery store, or a street corner.
*do a service job (dog poop, yard work, shoveling snow, vacuming houses, ect.)
*walk dogs
There are lots of ways to help out in your community, just tell the people you're working for what your doing and see if they will pay you!

Do some car washes, garage sales etc.
My daughter is going to Europe in March and it is costing us $3000 for 10 days but the school is also fund raising within the school for extras.

we do a spanish trip every 2 years for our spanish class and we find fundraisers to do. like a carwash (which isnt the best) or like a raffle thing at a sports event or somthing or sell programs at sports events for 25 cents or w/e and then have them numbered then during half time call out a number and whoever bot one with that number they get a cake or something... idk just be creative? |

you could have a bake sale, or like a Jog-a-thon. You ask people to give you money on (sponsor you) each lap you make in like 3 hours or something. If they dont want to do that then they can just give you like 20$ for the whole time or something. that wat we did and we made lots of money:)

50/50 raffles at sporting events. Bake Sales, car washes. One thing that was big here was auctioning off somebody for a day to do work for somebody. They usually mowed lawns, or shoveled snow, raked leaves, cleaned gutters, etc. Made quite abit on that. |

Ha. Me some of my class mates are doing the same thing!
We are -
Baking lots and lots of cupcakes and other bake goods to sell,
Having a penny sale with stuff people donated,
And my friend gave her grandma [who lives in the south] a jar for people to give donations.
It's working really well too!
She works at a bar and she's really good at talking people into things! =D
LOL.
