Ask your GMa to retrace her steps in her mind. Have her sit down, relax, take a few deep breaths, then hand her a glass of water {or other drink} so she can relax for a minute. Play her kind of music to help her think more clearly. If she says shut it off-do it! This medication causes some people to be "rushed" in their thought process. Is it possible she moved or misplaced them? Look in the most obvious places first, then go to the trash, underneath things, and especially in the seat cushions of furniture. Is there a dog & could it have picked up the bottle to play with. Look in pockets, purses, and cabinets. If she thinks you took them, then she doesn't trust you, so don't get into her purse without her permission & where she can SEE what you are doing. I bet they turn up somewhere close to where she usually does her daily grooming or close to where she usually is in the room. If you find them, don't make a big deal about it, cuz she probably feels dumb already for misplacing them. They will turn up soon. RELAX & call 4 back-up if you can. |
