Make a plan to work on it everyday. But be safe about it. Try going to office buildings, doctor's offices, etc. What about your parents friends, family, etc. See if you can get some extra catalogs so that your parents can have them and take orders and you are still working with yours. Secondly you have got to get out there early and don't wait until the last minute. You don't want to hear I already supported your cause because some go getter got all the sales. Smile a lot and be super friendly. But remember safety first when it comes to strangers because selling items IS not worth having something happen to you.
Now if you don't make your goal don't sweat it. Don't feel pressured because a hard sell never works. You need to be friendly, tell people why your selling whatever it is....
A great way to sell is to ask a question that people would like to answer no to you to but instead they are saying yes by saying no.... Confusing I know but just practice this....
Say to them is there any reason why you couldn't purchase something to support my ___________ fundraiser?
Or is there any reason why you couldn't look over my catalog and support our ______________.
By phrasing it in a question such as above their natural instinct to say no to buying something just became they don't have a reason why not to.....
It's a little psychological sales trick... |

well I don't know how old you are or what you are selling, but you could try the old door to door approach. And you could ask your parents to take it to work with them for a day. |

Oh My. I would have as many folks( who live near by) as possible hear my plea and have a giant yard sale of your stuff and their stuff. People are usually willing to part with there yard sale Goodwill items.The last church yard sale I helped with did 12 hundred in a day. Who informed you and why do you need that much money? what you need to do is if you have to sell 1400 items until thursday is to ask family members to help you and that is a lot of way people sell things better. |

Lemonade stand or stuff like that are quite stupide.
Go make some poster on your computer then print a few copies with your phone number on it then it would be easier to attract costumer. I try it before but in consequence, it would be harder for people to phone u after. PS i try it before. : )
