Hi! I was just wondering if for example I was going to mail a somewhat heavy tote. Can I use a big big sheet of white paper and wrap the tote and mail it like that? I can't find a box for the tote and the tote won't fit in those big yellow envelopes. Thanks
If you don't place it in a box first, the content will be crushed and possibly damaged. You need to box it first. Then you can use brown or white paper to wrap, if you want.
Mostly, brown paper are used because they are cheap. (white paper are bleached) There is no reason why you cannot use white.

Yes you can wrap a tote in white or brown paper but you will want to make sure the tote is tightly sealed with tape and also make sure the paper is tapped all the way closed. Also make sure you are using thick paper not thin paper such as rapping paper use thick heavy paper they sell paper like this at the post office staples and wal-mart i think. If the tote is heavy you will have to send it ups but only if it ways more than 70 pounds. i recommend putting fragile signs on it just because if is a plastic tote.

you can try it, but if you go to the post office or usps or whatever, they have those type boxes and can help you pack it or even one of those kinkos places.
