I lost my sister a short time ago. We did so many things together and had agreat ralationships. It was extremely hard to see her waste away at such an early age, she was so beautiful and shared so many moments with me and my family. She was always the life of the party for all of us. I prayed to God every day for her, but we lost her. My prayers were answered when I realized how great a person she was and how much she enriched our lives when she was alive. God gave me the strenght I needed to understand that we are all here because of his loving kindness, and how important it is to live our lives and love and share these precious moments, and to make a difference to others, so that when we are gone others can learn good from us. |

I deal with the same thing every day. I just stay busy and try to keep my mind off it and realise the people we lost are in a better place and that we all be where they are some days.. I talk to my family and they help alot at time of when we loose somone. I take a few days off from work to be with family and saying good bye to the desease. I think if it as that there not suffering anymore. and that i think of them watching over use. it hard but i take it one step at a time. I have a very supportive family when there a death in the family. i stay busy it helps on time like that. |

YES I DO KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN. THEY SAY TIME HEALS AND IT IS TRUE, BUT UNFORTUNATELY IT CAN SEEM LIKE AN ETERNITY. IT'S CALLED GRIEF, AND EVERYONE HANDLES IT DIFFERENTLY, SO DON'T LET PEOPLE TELL YOU HOW YOU SHOULD FEEL, HOW YOU SHOULD DEAL WITH IT, ETC. |

I've found that journaling is a very good way to honor and respect someone close to you. Getting your thoughts and ideas about a loved one is a great way to start healing.
Why?
Because for every thought you've put down on paper, you've made room for another thought to come through. It's ok to grieve. It's natural. Healing is much harder but with a good support group and a good journal, you'll be well on your way. |

The day of my Dad's funeral, we came back to my folks' house--and the toilet broke, wouldn't flush. I didn't have to worry, right there in my hose and heels and nice silk dress, I opened up the back of the toilet and fixed it, just like my Dad taught me.
And I *laughed*--I would never have thought I would laugh that day!--and I said, "Thanks, Daddy!"

Yes I know its very hard to get over! just keep praying for god to keep you strong.Don't give up.Go out, spend time with your loved ones.It will take time, I'm sure it won't completely go away things like that don't you will always miss that person.just don't stop praying GOD LOVES YOU VERY MUCH AND HE WILL HELP
