A Glass is sitting on a table, is it half full or half empty?
(Half Full- Optimisitic)
(Half Empty- Pessimistic)
But what is it called when you can't deside which one it is unless u know the history of the glass? (eg. You sit down in a bar, and the waitress starts pouring a drink in your cup and stops half way. (The glass is half full) But if the waitress fills the cup up, but a person drinks half (the glass is half empty)
What is that called? What is the reason for this? does it ACTUALLY mean "do you see the glass half full or empty" or does it really have a deeper meaning?
I am like you. If someone is filling the glass it is half full but if someone is drinking it is half empty. I am a pretty pessimistic person so I don't fall for the half empty/half full crap

I think it would be in order to finish the beer and then the glass would be 100% empty. But then again if the bartender filled the glass again....anyway, something to ponder.

I like to think of the glass as full: half of it liquid, half of it air. Some called that zen.
As far as your question is concerned. It sounds like you could call it cause/effect.
I will continue you ponder. "I was sad, but now I am OK" things are getting better! "I was happy, but now I am just OK" things are getting worse. Why does the second sentence make more sense it the would "just" is added.
Hmmmm.....
Joker
who cares u still have half just drink it

There's just half a glass. It's called being a realist. It's a question that is asked just to mess with your head.
